  • Raising Calm and Confident Children (Ages 3-12)

Forming positive friendships, settling in at kinder and school, and working out social problems are key to healthy and happy attitudes in our children. This program outlines how parents can best help children with their everyday testing times.  We explore common issues that can create anxieties and worries for children as they work through these social situations.  The session explores how parents can support children to develop coping skills, when to be assertive and when to let things go, and give children alternative ways of solving social issues.

  • Top 20 Tips for Positive Children’s Behaviour

This program focuses on everyday strategies that parents can implement to encourage positive behaviour in their children.  The session will explore how to reduce negative attention seeking and reduce power struggles. This program serves as an ideal ‘refresher’ for parents who have attended previous sessions with Jo Lange.  Parents are encouraged to share their ‘success stories’ as well as further examine challenges.  It is also an opportunity for new participants to hear the main themes that are the foundation of effective positive behaviour guidance strategies.
