The Very Hungry Caterpillar at the Bairnsdale Library

The East Gippsland Shire Library will be hosting a special Saturday storytime session during Social Inclusion Week aimed at children aged 3 - 10.

Yvonne Wink from MYWINK Therapy & Support Services will join library staff in delivering this free interactive Storytime session in celebration of Social Inclusion Week.  Enjoy the telling of Eric Carle’s famous The Very Hungry Caterpillar and participate in some associated activities.

Date:               Saturday 24 November

Venue:           Bairnsdale Library

Time:              10.30 am – 11.30 am

Christmas Craft at the Library

The East Gippsland Shire Library will be running some Children’s Christmas Craft Activity Sessions during December.  Children aged 5 to 12 are invited along to listen to some Christmas stories before making some Christmas craft items they can keep.

Bairnsdale Library:   Tuesday 11 December, 3.45 pm – 4.45 pm

Lakes Entrance Service Centre:   Tuesday 11 December, 3.45 pm – 4.45 pm

Paynesville Service Centre:           Thursday 20 December, 3.45 pm – 4.45 pm

 

Waterdragons Swimming Club

East Gippsland Waterdragons is a fun and enjoyable swimming club that caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities.  Club members come from all over East Gippsland and train with professional coaches at either Bairnsdale or Lakes Entrance. 

The Waterdragons Swimming Club will be hosting Come & Try sessions on the following days:

Friday 23 November
4.00pm – 4.30pm at Bairnsdale Aquatic & Recreation Centre (BARC)

Friday 30 November

5.00pm – 5.30pm at Lakes Entrance Aquadome
