The Victorian government has announced a drought response package targeting Central and East Gippsland.
Financial assistance will be extended to all primary and secondary students attending a registered government/non-government school or residing within the Wellington or East Gippsland Local Government Areas (LGA) from Term 1 2019.
I am pleased to confirm that as part of the drought response package, all students at our School will be eligible for financial assistance through the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) program.
This includes parents and independent students that do not hold a means-tested concession card, but are experiencing financial hardship as a result of drought conditions.
Families who receive the means-tested CSEF payment are also eligible for the one-off drought assistance payment of $375 per student.
$375 will be paid to the school at which the student is enrolled and attending on the first day of Term 1 2019.
Application process for parents
Parents must fill out an application form and lodge the form with the school. To ensure the funding is paid to schools as soon as possible, parents are encouraged to apply in term one, 2019. Please complete the form below and return to your Campus Reception for processing.
