Scholarship Information

Gippsland Grammar is an Anglican co-educational day and boarding school catering for the needs of children from ELC to Year 12. We offer a broad academic education, a wide co-curricular program and have achieved outstanding success in the VCE years.

 

Gippsland Grammar offers a number of scholarships in different categories:

  • Academic Scholarships (2022 entry opening November 2020)
  • General Excellence Scholarships (2022 entry opening November 2020)
  • Music Scholarships (2022 entry opening November 2020)
  • Junior School Entry Scholarships (Open now)

 

All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Principal and are subject to an annual review. The year levels offered and number of scholarships awarded each year is dependent upon the quality of the applicants and the availability of places. Scholarships carry between 20% and 50% remission of tuition fees.

Bairnsdale Junior School Entry Scholarships

The School will award scholarships to students of high academic ability. All candidates for the Bairnsdale Junior School Entry Scholarships must sit for an age and year level appropriate examination. Areas tested will be reading, mathematics and story writing.

 

  • Students not currently attending Gippsland Grammar are eligible for this scholarship if entering Years 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 in 2021.
  • This scholarship will carry between 20% and 33% remission of tuition fees.

 

Scholarships are tenable for the whole period of primary schooling, and are re-awarded annually provided that the holders continue to show good academic progress and contribute to School life.

St Anne's Junior School Entry Scholarships

The School will award scholarships to students of high academic ability. All candidates for the St Anne's Junior School Entry Scholarships must sit for an age and year level appropriate examination. Areas tested will be reading, mathematics and story writing.

 

  • Students not currently attending Gippsland Grammar are eligible for this scholarship if entering Years 2 or 3 in 2021.
  • This scholarship will carry between 20% and 33% remission of tuition fees.

 

Scholarships are tenable for the whole period of primary schooling, and are re-awarded annually provided that the holders continue to show good academic progress and contribute to School life.
